ISR Instructor: Aubrey
Hi everyone! My name is Aubrey Herron! I am a lifetime resident of Noblesville, Indiana and a mama to three littles!
I have spent my entire life around the water. I grew up on Morse Lake and I became a competitive swimmer at the age of 6. I continued to love swimming my whole life and swam as a Division 1 swimmer in college at Miami (OH). I have spent over 10 years teaching traditional swimming+stroke lessons and have even trained a local olympic swimmer.
When I had my own kids, I was introduced to the world of ISR and was blown away. I found myself feeling increasingly anxious when my young children were around a body of water. Knowing that I wanted to give them the skills to save themselves if an accident happened, I enrolled them in ISR.
In 2024, I decided to quit my job in corporate America and train to become an ISR Instructor. I am completing my in-water training October/November 2024 and will be open for lessons around Thanksgiving.
I am excited to further equip our community with survival swim skills, and also give parents like me, a sense of peace and clarity when their children are around pools, lakes and oceans.
When I am not in the water training, you will likely find me running around town (with wet hair) with my husband and three kids in tow. Crew, Cohen and Callie keep me busy and are my whole world.
I am a foodie at heart, and love a good latte in the morning. I have a bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Masters in Public Health. Did you know that drowning is the #1 cause of accidental deaths under age 4 and is a major public health crisis?! Knowing that, it is my shared mission with ISR Corporate that not one more child drowns!
I am excited to get to know you and your babies! I promise to treat you, your child and your ISR experience with compassion, empathy, care and dedication.
Not One More Child Drowns.
